Pea and ham soup is one of the soups on the menu at Do Duck Inn thi winter

Pea and ham soup is one of the favourites this winter

It’s not quite winter yet but with the cold weather setting in, there’s no better time to enjoy some hearty, healthy soups for lunch.

You’ll find something different on the menu every day.

Some favourites are pea and ham, creamy pumpkin and rich tomato. Soups come with crusty bread and cost only $6.00 per serve. Eat in or takeaway.

Fresh local produce makes the best food

We all know that South Australia has great produce that is renowned around the world. Where we can, we source our products locally so that the food we prepare is the freshest and our customers get the best tasting food.

Darren, the proprietor of Do Duck Inn, has been an advocate of ‘fresh is best’ long before it became a popular trend. The emphasis at Do Duck Inn is on the very finest quality foods and customer satisfaction.

Here’s a hint for local autumn produce to use at home

There’s a cool change on its way which means a whole suite of produce coming into its prime. Autumn’s the time to look for flavoursome truss tomatoes, cauliflower, asparagus and a whole host of healthy greens. Look out for pomegranates, oranges and other fruits in season.
